CIRCUS - Experiential Pop-Up Space

Project type

Spatial Design - Retail Activation

Date

April 2025

Location

Soho, London

For this commission, I was responsible for the creative direction of the CIRCUS Experiential Pop-Up Store, launched during the 2025 London Marathon to mark the brand’s official debut into the performance-wear space.

Conceived as an immersive brand environment, the pop-up adopted a Return to Nature aesthetic—inviting visitors to reconnect with the primal energy of endurance. The interior drew on a material palette of concrete, raw steel, and chrome, softened by earthy tones and natural textures to create a striking contrast between organic presence and industrial design.

A key feature of the space was a series of moss installations—carefully composed to form fluid, organic shapes that spilled across central tables and guided the user’s journey through the store. These botanical forms acted as both visual anchors and directional cues, leading visitors through a curated narrative of ultra-distance running photography, technical performance apparel, accessories, and independent running publications.

Every element was choreographed to evoke exploration and resilience. The space balanced functionality with atmosphere, positioning CIRCUS as a brand rooted in modern performance, material innovation, and deep respect for the wild environments that define the sport.
